Chaplain with oversight responsibilities

ICS seeks an experienced Anglican priest to lead an enthusiastic and diverse group of English-speaking Christians from many backgrounds as they seek to see God’s kingdom grow in this beautiful region of France. The Chaplaincy is served by thirteen worshipping centres, supported by a large and experienced ministry team.

We are looking for someone who is: 

  • experienced in leading large teams collaboratively and proactively

  • able to delegate, with strong organisational skills 

  • able to teach, preach and pray in a way that will engage with people of varying church backgrounds, cultures, ages and understanding 

who has:

  • strong interpersonal skills and is able to minister empathetically to people with varying needs

  • ecumenical experience 

  • at least basic conversational French and a willingness to improve 

who will:

  • encourage and support us to be mission minded in our outreach 

  • be able to build relationships across diverse individuals and groups

A full stipend will be paid together with a generous housing allowance, a car and usual benefits.
