The English Church in Ostend and Bruges is part of the Church of England, in the Diocese of Europe. In Ostend, we’ve been known as ‘The English Church’ for just over 150 years, and our church in Bruges is called St Peter’s.

We are a multi-cultural community that worships in English under the spiritual leadership of the Revd Augustine Nwaekwe, who also serves the Anglican church of St George’s in Knokke-Heist and in the Sint-Jan Baptistkerk in Kortrijk on Sundays. Kortrijk was planted in 2013 through the Ostend/Brugge/Knokke Chaplaincy. It is a New Work supported by ICS.
