Pray for ICS

Each day we focus on an aspect of our work and call on all those who support ICS to pray with us.

Today’s Prayers

St. Marc’s, Grenoble: That Pentecost (20) may bring a real work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, a deepening love for the Lord and a greater desire to pray together and study God’s
Word.

Christ Church, Lille: As our students start to move on, we pray that their time at CCL has been one of spiritual growth and preparation for the next steps in their life journey.

Today, St. Paul’s, Tervuren holds a first meeting of our newly elected church council. Please pray that we catch a collective vision for our way forward under Christ’s headship.

Today’s Prayers

St. Peter’s, Chantilly: Give thanks for the youth and children at St. Peter’s: for the Scouts and ‘Mothers and Others’, as we reach out to families and children. Pray for those
getting married this month, for our Confirmation Service and Bishop Robert’s visit.

St. Luke’s, Fontainebleau: We give thanks for the hardworking team of our sister association Les Amis who take care of our charitable giving to great effect, not only in their fundraising but also in providing many happy social occasions that also reach the wider community, putting us on the map as a lively, vibrant Christian community.

Bush Church Aid: BCA would appreciate prayers for their national AGM, followed by the Annual Council Meeting (16-17). May it be a time of rejoicing in the Lord’s provision for Field Staff during 2017, and careful and wise planning for the future based on these reports.

Today’s Prayers

Christ Church, Brittany: For the church centres at Huelgoat, Rostrenen and Ploermel, that each centre will undergird its message and outreach with increased prayer.

Holy Trinity, Cannes: The Cannes Film Festival takes over the town (8-19). We joined other chaplaincies for an Ascension Day Service and picnic at Lorgues (10).

Today there will be a meeting for music leaders at St. Paul’s, Tervuren, that we would develop our ministry in helping our congregation to grow in worship and to let the power of the Holy Spirit work in our lives.

ICS Conference

The week of the ICS Chaplains and Families’ Conference that took place from 30 April-4 May was a time full of opportunities to share; learn; worship God and have fun together. For a group of chaplains from unique international settings, the title of ‘The International Minister’ was aptly named. Each day delved into different aspects of living cross-culturally, working inter-culturally and thinking internationally.
