Pray for ICS

Each day we focus on an aspect of our work and call on all those who support ICS to pray with us.

Today’s Prayers

Chaplaincy of Poitou-Charentes: At the AGM, a strategic plan was outlined for the next three years. Pray for the team set up as a Think Tank, to advise on its implementation and for the chaplain, wardens and council to ensure all decisions are carried out effectively and to the glory of God.

St. Mark’s, Versailles/St. Paul’s, Chevry: Pray for Hugh Cox, our locum; for unity and a deeper knowledge of and trust in God; for the repairs to the chaplaincy house and the church heating system.

Today’s Prayers

Holy Trinity, Maisons-Laffitte: Please pray for our summer holiday club ‘Landlubbers’ (10-13). That everyone involved, leaders and children, will have been greatly blessed
and have grown in their knowledge and love of God.

St. Michael’s, Paris: This month Chaplain Alyson Lamb leaves St. Michael’s to take up a parish position in the UK. Pray for her and the chaplaincy in this time of transition. A
number of key lay leaders move in this summer also.

Today’s Prayers

Lorgues with Fayence in the Var: Peter’s licence as Priest-in-Charge has been re-issued and will be formally presented to him (and his chaplaincy) in Holy Trinity, Cannes (30). Pray also for Peter and Shirley as they entertain guests over the summer season.

Lyon Anglican Church: Please pray for the functioning of the church during the holidays with a limited number of staff and a truncated Sunday School.

Today’s Prayers

St. Marc’s, Grenoble: Summer holidays come for many this month but for some in our congregation this is not an affordable option. Some Nigerian members still await residence papers, the right to work and be joined by family.

Christ Church, Lille: As visitors start to arrive in Lille, please pray that Christ Church will be a place of spiritual refreshment, giving us an opportunity to minister God’s love to all who visit.

Today’s Prayers

St. Peter’s, Chantilly: For Sarah Tillett settling into her role as the new chaplain in Chantilly. For those who visit the chaplaincy during the summer, and a successful completion to the restoration project as the wall and fence are repaired.

St. Luke’s, Fontainebleau: Our church family gives thanks for our new council and asks for God’s blessing to be on all their hard work. That the church family will be supportive
co-workers in ‘building this house’.
